Good place for older people to work as there is job security but for younger people I suggest you don’t even bother this place will wear you out fast. It is all based on seniority so it is most likely going to be at least a year or more before you are given anything earlier than the graveyard shift. Also, especially in Food & Beverage it is nearly impossible to get a good schedule. ![]() I don’t know how you can do side work when you can’t even leave the cash register. Long lists of side work which can be nearly impossible because the casino is always busy. The workload in Food & Beverage is overwhelming especially for the pay. The pay is terrible and in order to make a decent amount of money you have to work your butt off to make tips. Everyone sleeps with everyone regardless of whether or not they’re married. Sure you can transfer but you need to have the right connections and if you are qualified they’ll just end up giving to someone they are friends with rather than you. The way you get treated is basically based upon the department you are in. ![]() For starters this place is like high school. Most of the people are friendly but my god is that place full of toxic people. ![]() You get to meet lots of people, last time I checked Barona employs over 2,000+ people. Starting off with the pros, the benefits are amazing, definitely the one thing I miss about that place.
